This website (benmorros.com) is a personal portfolio operated by Benjamin Morros. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
Data We Collect
- Contact form submissions: Name, email, and message content submitted voluntarily through the contact form. Used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Analytics: Anonymous, cookieless usage data collected via Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Google Analytics (GA4). All analytics are first-party only — no third-party tracking, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. Google Analytics is configured without advertising features or data sharing. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Authentication: If you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your name and email from the provider. This is used only for authorized access to the application tracker.
- Gmail access: If you authorize Gmail access during Google sign-in, we use read-only access to scan for job application responses. Emails are not stored — only metadata (sender, subject, signal type) is retained.
Cookies
This site uses only essential first-party cookies required for authentication (Supabase session tokens). No advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies are set. Analytics are collected without cookies. No consent banner is required as no non-essential cookies are used.
How Data Is Used
Data is used exclusively for the stated purposes: responding to contact inquiries, improving site performance, and powering the private application tracker. Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Data Storage
Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS us-east-1) with row-level security policies. The site is hosted on Vercel. Both providers maintain SOC 2 compliance.
